- "Seek that gospel which rips up and tears and cuts and wounds and hacks and even kills, for that is the gospel that makes alive again. And when you have found it, give good heed to it. Let it enter into your inmost being. As the rains soak into the ground, so pray the Lord to let His gospel soak into your soul." Charles Spurgeon

- Fill us, O Lord and Father of us all, we beseech Thee, with thy gentle Spirit, and dispel on both sides all the clouds of misunderstanding and passion. Make an end to the strife of blind fury. Arise, O Christ, Thou Sun of righteousness, and shine upon us. Alas! while we contend, we only too often forget to strive after holiness which Thou requirest from us all. Guard us against abusing our powers, and enable us to employ them with all earnest for the promotion of holiness. Luther

I looked at your Arminian category and it was gentle. I appreciate your tone and commitment to Christ. I am sometimes a little strong about Calvinism, however I have many friends whose view of Christ and His Word inspires me. We love each other even when disagreeing.
Thanks – Rick
That is an absolutely beautiful picture on your banner. Did you take it and where is it??
No, it is a header provided by wordpress. I do not know where it is, but if I could visist there I would.
Hi, Thomas..
Since you were kind enough to give me the “Lamb” link today (which I enjoyed immensely), your “words, words, words” inspired me to give you this. Not sure how to hyperlink on wordpress, so you’ll need to cut and paste the link into your browser.
As you listen to Orson, couldn’t you imagine some Emergent chanting this?
Thanks Joel, heres a couple back at you:

Think I should mess up Pyro with these?
I love Alan Parsons. And you know, “Don’t Answer Me” would be a good one to point toward the Emergent Church. Their arguments are generally full of non-answers and non-sequiturs.
